Transferring to Dare County Schools
Transferring Out of District
Transferring students should contact the Data Manager at their current school to begin preparing records for transfer. The student's new school should contact their current data manager to initate a transfer of records.
Districts Requesting Student Records
School districts requesting student records should fax an official request to the attention of the Data Manager at the student's current school.
For faster processing, please include:
Student's full, legal name
Student's date of birth
Student's last date of attendance (if known)
Name and contact information of the requesting school.
Records are released in accordance with state and federal student data privacy laws.
