DARE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL ART EDUCATORS EXHIBITION
“Beyond the Lesson Plan”
July 28-August 28
Glenn Eure’s Ghost Fleet Gallery is delighted to announce its up-coming exhibition celebrating the creative talents of our very own Dare County art educators. For years their influence on school children has been witnessed through the amazing work displayed in the gallery during the annual student art exhibition each January.
Now it’s the teachers turn!
The exhibit “Beyond the Lesson Plan” spotlights their aesthetic visions and explorations in a variety of visual art media and materials including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, digital work, jewelry and ceramics.
Visitors to the gallery can meet the artists during the opening reception August 2nd, 2-4pm.
Participating artists include-Gabrielle Griggs, Emily Gomez, Holly Gottenborg, Mari LaRose, Ida Ojanguren, Justin Paxton, Monica Penn, Amanda Mancuso, Kristina McEwan, Jillion Metzinger, Brandy Stewart, Jenn Stewart.
