Upcoming Board of Education Meetings
Special Session Meeting: November 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM
The Dare County Board of Education will meet in special session on Friday, November 22 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Dare County Schools Administrative Office in Nags Head, NC. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to consider a facilities use request and to meet in closed session with the Board of Education attorney to preserve the attorney-client privilege as provided in N.C.G.S. 143- 318.11(a)(3); to consider confidential personnel matters as provided in N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(6); and to consider confidential student matters as provided in N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(1) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99).
