New Document Submission Procedure

Members of the public are welcome to submit documents for the Board of Education to review. If a member of the public desires to submit documentation to the Board, they will have to submit them to the designee who distributes and collects the public comment sign up form. Documents will not be distributed during the meeting. The Board will receive any documentation submitted following the meeting.

Face Coverings Required

Board Policy 4231/5021/7263, Face Coverings, provides that visitors will not be admitted into a school building without wearing an appropriate face covering unless an exemption as described in section B. of that policy applies. In order to accommodate individuals who refuse to wear a face covering or for some reason cannot wear a face covering, the Board provides for live streaming of its meetings.  For the safety of all individuals who may wish to attend a public meeting on school grounds, face coverings are required and those not wearing a face covering will not be admitted to the Board meeting, consistent with Board policy, unless exempted as described below.

Individuals claiming an exemption from the face covering requirements are encouraged to take advantage of the accommodations described above.  Individuals claiming an exemption who present documentation and submit an exemption form indicating they should not wear a face covering due to a medical or behavioral condition or disability (including, but not limited to any person who has trouble breathing, who is unconscious or incapacitated, or is otherwise unable to put on or remove the face covering without assistance), or children who are unable to wear the face covering safely, or children under the age of 2 may be exempted from the face covering requirement consistent with Board policy.  Those individuals will be seated separately from others admitted into the public meeting, consistent with school safety protocols.

We appreciate the public’s cooperation as we try to maintain a safe environment for public meetings with public participation.
