Annual Spring Art Show Returns to Roanoke Island Festival Park
Talented art students from across the district will proudly display their artwork at the Annual Dare County Schools Spring Art Show held April 2-26. The exhibition, Discover a World of Art, is open Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Meeting Room, located in Roanoke Island Festival Park's Administrative Building.
The public is invited to explore this free exhibition, showcasing the creations of Dare County Schools' K-12 art students. An opening reception will be held April 12 from 5-7 p.m.
The spring art show will feature an incredible array of artistic mediums, including mixed media, paintings, graphic design, drawings, photography, and sculptures. This annual event provides students with a platform to hone their skills, experiment with new techniques, and proudly exhibit their achievements from the academic year. Dare County Schools encourages families and the public to attend and enjoy the artistic endeavors of our K-12 art students.
Dare County Schools would like to thank Roanoke Island Festival Park for allowing our schools to utilize their venue for this wonderful show. The district also extends a heartfelt thank you to our extraordinary art teachers for nurturing and supporting our students artistic talents and for their efforts coordinating this year's show.
