The Dare County Board of Education will meet in special session on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 4:00 p.m., at Manteo High School. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to meet with the Board of Education attorney in closed session to preserve the attorney-client privilege as provided in N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3); and to consider confidential personnel matters as provided in N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(6). The regular monthly meeting of the Board will follow at 5:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held virtually for the general public due to COVID-19 restrictions on mass gatherings. Live audio of the meetings will be available on the Dare County Schools website at https://www.daretolearn.org. A form to submit public comments for the regular monthly meeting will also be available on the Dare County Schools website 48 hours prior to the meeting.
